Pixel Study

Pixel Study is an interactive mirror that explores different ways of rendering video pixel-by-pixel, drawing inspiration from vector graphics, ASCII art, and mosaics. It consists of an openFrameworks app that manipulates webcam video in real time and a physical interface powered by an Arduino that allows the viewer to change the behavior of the mirror. Pixel Study was made as my final project for the 2016 Summer session of the School for Poetic Computation.
